Creates an extremely positive first impression. Greet visitors, welcomes them by name, determines nature of business, answers questions, and directs them as appropriate.Provide information and assistance to visitors, residents, and etc.
Answer inquires from the general public. Operate telephone console to receive incoming calls. Schedules appointments, maintains conference room schedule, receive or send out messenger/courier items. Assist office staff with A/R, A/P, billing and resident account functions. Perform a variety of clerical duties.
Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Six months of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Equipment/Technology: Must have basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Language/Communication: Extremely strong customer service oriented presence. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with visitors, residents, and their family members, etc. at all levels of the organization. Excellent phone etiquette.
Mathematical Skills: Must be able to tabulate sums spent using petty cash, gift certificates, etc. for customer needs. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide to calculate averages for monthly reports.
Mental Capabilities: Must have the ability to prioritize multiple and competing customer and staff needs.
Interpersonal: Must be able to communicate and work well with a diverse spectrum of co-workers and customers. Will more likely succeed with a positive and conversational approach to people.
Performance: Must be able to welcome guest complaints/feedback without becoming defensive. May need to adjust schedule to meet guest needs.
