Promontory Healthcare Companies is seeking a Registered Nurse for Clinical Chart Audits of our various Transitional Care Facilities. Prior nursing and chart auditing experience is required. This individual would operate in an office setting. 


  • Performing comprehensive audits of EMRs to ensure records meet federal and state regulatory guidelines. 
  • Make recommendations to the Director of Quality Clinical Compliance in order for them to instruct Director of Nursing, Dietary Managers, Social Services Directors, and Directors of Therapy to correct EMR compliance deficiencies.
  • Assist Director of Quality Clinical Compliance to implement and develop auditing tools & policy and procedures.
  • Perform mock surveys in Skilled Nursing Facilities prior to annual surveys. 
    • Consult Facilities to ensure deficiencies are corrected.
    • Implement strategies to ensure continued compliance.
  • Consult facilities as needed to ensure compliance during state survey process.
  • Consult facilities on an ongoing basis to reach compliance standards.
  • Ensure readiness for compliant and annual survey process.
  • Ensure plans for correction are being implemented and performed as expected by the state where the facility is located. 
  • Assist in education regarding compliance and regulatory mandates.
  • Assist in oversight of QAPI programs per state mandate.
  • All recommendations, suggestions, and directives will be made through the Director of Quality Compliance at which point they will be relayed to the facilities and respective department heads as the Director deems necessary.


Education/Certification: Registered Nurse with unrestricted license.


Experience: Healthcare administrative duties, knowledge of federal Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and state survey process.


Equipment/Technology: Excel, Word, Promontory EHR systems.
