Elite Professionals Home Care is looking to bring on CNAs! We currently have openings for day shifts, overnight shifts, and a 6pm to 11pm shift.

Responsibilities

  1. Performs only under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, who has provided written instructions for patient care (Home Care Plan) or verbalized in a Nursing facility.
  2. Performs total care, or assists clients in all activities of daily living personal care, such as but not limited to, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and so forth.
  3. Assists clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises as assigned.
  4. Prepares nutritious meals within the client’s diet and assists client with eating when necessary.
  5. Performs light housekeeping chores as outlined by a Registered Nurse.
  6. Assists clients to the bathroom or with the use of a bedpan.
  7. Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly.
  8. Takes and records accurately, temperature, pulse, and respiration: and reports change to a Registered Nurse.
  9. Performs routine nursing duties (vital signs, personal care, nutritional teaching, exercise and so forth) and general tasks required to provide for the safety and emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort of the patients. Assists patent's family with coping with the patent's illness.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and have a minimum high school diploma. Minimum six (6) months of experience as a nursing assistant preferred.  Must have two (2) satisfactory references from previous employers if applicable.  Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate much standing, bending, stooping, and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).  Must be able to read, follow written instructions, and document care given.  Should demonstrate flexibility in acceptance of assignments and a cooperative attitude toward providing services.  Must meet all Agency requirements.
